What does hypnosis feel like?

Some people just feel very relaxed and others feel a sense of complete euphoria. Listen to my recording for a taster. I recommend to all clients to listen to the recording after the initial consultation so that you can experience hypnosis in an environment that feels safe to you.
Why use hypnosis?
We go into trance many times a day - when we are driving, watching TV, or out for a run and it allows parts of the brain to work together for the same goal, to problem solve and reduce stress. Trance in hypnotherapy allows your brain to work out how it is going to work on the solutions that you come up with in the session.
Absolutely not. You are in complete control during trance and can open your eyes at any time. Stage hypnosis has created a lot of misconceptions but ultimately, we work in a way that is going to support you and your goals.
How long is a session?
The first session is a free initial consultation which usually takes 30-45 minutes, or up to an hour if you have lots of questions! After that, each session takes about an hour.

Stopping smoking is the exception as you will only have one session which can take between 1 hour, 30 minutes and 2 hours.
Do online sessions work as well?
We do sessions online through Google Meet. It works just as well as face-to-face, if not better! You are not stressed about parking and getting to the appointment on time. You can be in your own space and even in your own bed which really helps you to relax in trance.
How many sessions will I need?
Stopping smoking only requires 1 session. Phobias are dealt with over 4 sessions, including the free initial consultation. Everything else can be anything from 6-12 sessions, the number of sessions can depend on lots of factors so we can discuss further in a free initial consultation.
